Gold credit cards

Looking for a Gold credit card? Compare credit cards at RateCity.com.au to find one that truly lives up to its name.

So what makes gold credit cards gold? Compared to the low rate card and platinum credit cards, it's somewhat of an in-between, offering a generous credit limit and a reward program without the premium fees.

The rates on a gold credit card can be as high as a platinum card, only with lower ongoing fees. They still retain the same number of interest free days as other cards, with a low introductory rate on balance transfers.

Many credit card providers also waive the ongoing fee for the first year, but that still means you should make sure you're happy with the annual cost before you sign up.
