Unibank’s Classic Home Loan is available for owner-occupiers only, so you will need to live in the own you are buying or refinancing, with a minimum deposit of at least 15 per cent.

The Classic Home Loan does not have an offset account however it does let you make additional repayments so you can get ahead on your loan.

It also includes a redraw facility so you can take out any extra repayments you might have made into the loan. You can also opt for a top-up of the loan, but this will cost you.

Should you ever have the need, you can pause repayments too. This is not a feature that’s available on all home loans, but one that comes in handy if finances need to be diverted elsewhere.
