Annualised figures are the average per year returns of the rated option based on the cumulative returns for the past 5 years to 30/06/2015, past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance. Performance and fee data is based on the option which is rated by SuperRatings and stated on each product's landing page.
Benchmark investment information - how performance is measured
To ensure comparability for consumers, the RateCity superannuation comparison is based on the asset allocation of each of the MySuper/Pension products, irrespective of the name of the investment option. This methodology allows consumers to compare products on a like for like basis and removes any ambiguities associated with the name of the investment option. For example, an investment option may be classified as growth, however its asset allocation may in fact mean it should be classified as high growth. By using the asset allocation as the dominant identifier, we believe this provides the most robust framework for consumers to compare funds and recognise that this is a consistent approach to that of SuperRatings methodology.

What the researchers say
AMP Flexible Super was launched in May 2009, with the aim to be a simple and low-cost superannuation product. It has achieved its 6th consecutive Platinum rating in recognition of its competitiveness across our key assessment criteria.
The Core Package provides members with access to 3 Diversified investment options and a Cash option. Members can access over 80 investment options by upgrading to the Choice Package. The Super Easy Balanced option has performed in-line with the SuperRatings Index over the five years to 30 June 2015.
Fees associated with this product are rated as excellent across all account balances assessed. No switching or exit fees are charged, although changing investment options may incur transactional costs. Compared to members in the Select and Choice Packages, Core members enjoy a reduced member fee.
This product provides members with an excellent level of pension flexibility. Members can choose from a variety of pension payment frequencies ranging from fortnightly to annually, and can nominate a date to receive their payments. Members can also drawdown their pension pro-rata across their investments, or nominate a specific drawdown order.
With improved navigation, AMP's new look website contains a variety of financial simulators and retirement calculators, and a 'News and Insights' Centre to keep members informed with market updates and investing know-hows. Members can also manage their superannuation on desktops, tablets and their mobile phones via MyPortfolio.
