Compare Term Deposits

Term deposits are meant to lock away some of your unneeded cash and there are specific facilities which distinguish them against a regular savings account:

  • Penalty fees for withdrawing a part of your investment applies to some term deposits and not others
  • Some institutions also pay interest dividends outside its own, while others keep it within the same account.

If these facilities are important to you, make sure you find an institution that accommodates. Otherwise lock in the highest rate and make your cash work hard.

The table below displays RateCity's highest interest rates for 180 day term deposits.
