AMG Super was established to service the retirement needs of members from a wide range of industries. The fund is a public offer fund and allows members from all industries to apply for membership. The Account Based Pension requires a minimum initial investment of $20,000 to commence membership.AMG Super offers an investment menu of 5 diversified options, 6 single sector options, as well as access Direct Shares, ETFs, LICs, Managed Funds, IPOs and Term Deposits. Cumulatively, members have access to more than 80 managed funds. The Balanced option underperformed the relevant SuperRatings Index over the 10 years to 30 June 2019.Fees are lower than the industry average across all account balances assessed. The administration fee is tiered and will reduce further for account balances greater than $250,001. The fund does not charge switching fees, although a buy-sell spread may apply.AMG Super Account Based Pension offers reasonable pension flexibility, with members able to select from monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly payment frequencies. Members may also select from binding and non-binding death nominations, as well as reversionary pensions.The fund provides both members with account information, investment trading facilities and interactive portfolio performance history tools. Authorised advisers may also use a range of innovative administrative and investment tools through the Adviser Content Hub.
