WA Super is a Perth based industry fund, initially set up for employees of Local Governments throughout Western Australia, however, has since become a Public Offer super fund. Retirement Solutions - Income Stream was established in 2001, with a minimum initial investment of $50,000 required to commence membership.WA Super offers an investment menu of 4 Diversified options and 5 Single Sector options. The Diversified Moderate option outperformed the relevant SuperRatings Index over the 10 years to 30 June 2019. Please note that the Diversified Moderate option sits within the Conservative Balanced (41-59%) option category.Fees are lower than the industry average across all account balances assessed and are capped at $1,500 pa. The fund does not charge an investment switching fee or a buy-sell spread.WA Super Retirement Solutions offers reasonable pension flexibility, with members able to select from monthly or annual payment frequencies. Members with more than one investment option can nominate the proportion of, or order in which, payments are to be drawn from each option. Members can also select from reversionary pensions, binding death nomination and non-binding lump sum death benefits.A range of member services are available, including online access and transaction functionalities, online calculators, as well as fact sheets and newsletters. The fund also provides access to financial planning services and a range of banking products from ME.
