RACQ Bank term deposits

The RACQ (Royal Automobile Club of Queensland) was formed by 12 motorist enthusiasts in 1902. Today the club operates as a mutual organisation and provides roadside assistance, car insurance, boat insurance home and contents insurance and other services to its members in Queensland. The RACQ head office is located Eight Mile Plains. In 1997 RACQ launched their member benefits and discount program under the slogan "show your card and save". In 2002 a new organisational structure was implemented by the new joint venture partner Suncorp Metway. Prior to this time RACQ had partnered with AMP and GIO who initiated writing RACQ’s first insurance policies. The organisation has always been committed to driver education and awareness, evident in the launching of their ’learn2go’ program for learner drivers and ’The Streets Ahead’ - a road safety education program for primary school students.
