When estimating the cost of this plan, there is an assumption that the household will use 8.5 kWh per day. The estimated price for a single person household is $1,140 per year. As the household size increases to 2-3 people, the estimated cost increases to around $1,580 per year. And, for a household with more than five people, it’s estimated that your energy costs will be about $2,180 annually.
Regional Queensland Residential Electricity Plan
The Regional Queensland Residential Electricity Plan is for customers who live outside the Sout East Queensland region covered by that plan. Contact Metered Energy to find out which plan covers your area. Assuming you use 8.5 kWh per day, the cost of this plan for a single person household will likely be $1,110 per year. For a home with 2-3 people, you'll likely pay around $1,540 annually. And, for a household of more than five people, your energy costs may increase to $2,110 per year.
Metered Energy gas plans
Metered Energy doesn’t provide any specific prices or plans for gas at the moment. They do offer gas to units that are part of a body corporate, with large gas usage metered and charged per megajoule (MJ). Un-metered appliances, including gas cooktops, are billed based on usage.
Does Metered Energy offer any concessions or rebates?
Yes, Metered Energy offers concessions to certain customers who have applicable government support cards.
