Before you apply for car insurance online make sure that you have the following information ready:
• Your address and details of the people who will be driving the car – ensure you list all possible drivers
• Car details – including the year, make and model. Car features – What extra options are fitted to the car • Whether your car is fitted with an immobilizer, alarm or both
• Your driving history – have you made any claims in the past five or so years, if so you will need details of these
• If you have a no claims bonus, what level is it? Do you want to protect it? This may cost you a little extra
• Where is the vehicle kept when you are not using it and overnight?
• Do you use your vehicle for personal or business use or both? How many kilometres do you drive on average per year?Finally, remember to read the product disclosure statement (PDS)
