Macquarie Bank Savings Accounts

The Macquarie Savings Account is only available with a Macquarie Transaction Account. It has no monthly account-keeping fees and offers bonus interest for the first four months. Accounts with a balance of at least $25,000 earn a higher interest rate than those under $25,000. Macquarie Bank also offers term deposits, credit cards, home loans, car loans and investment services. Macquarie began life in Sydney in 1969, as Hill Samuel Australia. It obtained a banking licence in 1985 and listed on the stock exchange in 1996. It now operates in 27 countries.
