Why choose MyState Bank
MyState Bank Credit Cards
About MyState credit cards
At MyState, you’ll find fewer credit card options than you might find at one of Australia’s big four banks. However, MyState credit cards include low-rate, classic and platinum options that are fit for a wide range of customers.
The interest rates charged on MyState credit cards vary from product to product. MyState credit card rates range from moderately low on low-rate cards to high on platinum and rewards cards. MyState gives customers a very low introductory interest rate on balance transfers, but the rate will revert to the original amount after the initial period has expired.
Like its credit card rates, MyState credit card fees differ depending on the card you choose. Annual fees range from moderately low to moderately high. In general, rewards card holders will pay higher fees. MyState charges a low late payment fee across all cards.
MyState credit cards review
Both reward-seekers and budget card holders may find MyState credit cards suitable for their needs. The low-rate option charges a reasonable interest rate and moderately low fees, making it well suited to those who want a no-frills card with minimal cost.
The rewards card offered by MyState earns points for money spent. The card does not earn frequent flyer points or cashback but does include international travel insurance, purchase cover insurance and transit accident insurance.
MyState credit card rates vary greatly, ranging from moderately low to high. Some cards offer an introductory balance transfer deal that allows card holders to transfer their existing debt to their new card without paying initial interest. All MyState credit cards include a moderate number of interest-free days.
All MyState credit cards are backed by Mastercard and come with Fraudshield, which monitors card activity 24/7.
