Established in 1996 as a superannuation product for individuals and small employers, AMP Flexible Lifetime Super has been closed to new members since July 2010. AMP is Infinity Recognised, which is a result of its strong commitment to environmental and social principles.Members have access to a wide range of Diversified, Single-Sector and Single Manager options, as well as Term Deposits. The AMP Balanced Growth option has underperformed the SuperRatings Index over the short and long term. Fees for this product are higher than the industry average across all assessed account balances. However, rebates are available for members with account balances over $100,000, resulting in fee reductions of up to 0.85% p.a. for account balances greater than $1 million. Furthermore, no exit or switching fees are charged, although changing investment options may incur transaction costs. A full suite of insurance cover is offered. Members can apply for unlimited Death cover and up to $5 million of Death & TPD insurance. Income Protection insurance is available over a 2 year or to age 65 benefit period, with a choice of a variety of waiting periods ranging from 30 to 720 days. Premiums are tailored on an individual basis, therefore premium rates provided here are indicative only.AMP's website contains a variety of financial simulators and retirement calculators, as well as a Goals info centre with a wealth of online tools and educational material. The fund's interactive digital advice tool 'AMP Goals 360' is designed to assist members to plan and track their retirement goals.

You can use your MyGov account to see details of all your superannuation accounts, including any you might have forgotten. Alternatively, you can fill in a ‘Searching for lost super’ form and send it to the Australian Taxation Office, which will then search on your behalf.
