Established in January 2014, AMP SDF MySuper is the MySuper offering for Super Directions for Business, Super Directions for Business Rollover Section, Tailored Super & Simple Super products.The AMP SDF MySuper investment strategy uses a lifecycle investment approach, which is designed to reduce the level of growth assets in the actively managed portfolio as a member approaches retirement. The MySuper 1960s underperformed the SuperRatings Index over the 3 years to 30 June 2018. For members wishing to exercise investment choice, a wide range of investment options are available through the Super Directions offerings. Fees associated with this product are lower than the industry average across all account balances assessed. No switching fees are charged, although exit fees apply for partial and full withdrawals.The assessment of insurance covers and costs assumes the use of the Super Directions for Business insurance offering, which provides access to Death only, Death & TPD and Income Protection (IP) insurance. Members can apply for up to $5 million of Death only cover and $2 million of Death & TPD cover. Income Protection insurance is offered over a 2 year or to age 65 benefit period, covering 75% of a member's salary up to $20,000 per month, with a waiting period of 30, 60 or 90 days. As insurance can be tailored for sub-plans, these ratings are indicative only. AMP's website contains a variety of financial simulators and retirement calculators, as well as a Goals info centre, which provides members with a wealth of educational materials, tools and online learning. Members can also manage their superannuation on desktops or mobile devices via MyPortfolio. Access to financial advice is also provided to members.
