    Features

The Qudos Bank Lifestyle credit card has no fees, a moderately low interest rate and no interest-free days.

An additional cardholder can be included on the primary account, as long as they’re at least 16 years old.

This Visa card has a moderately high credit limit and a moderately low interest rate for cash advances.

There is no rewards or points scheme associated with the Qudos Bank Lifestyle Visa.

Your transactions are protected by 24/7 card protection monitoring services. In times of need, you have the option of accessing Visa's 24-hour worldwide emergency hotline.

The Qudos Bank Lifestyle credit card does not have any digital wallet features such as Apple Pay. However, contactless transactions less than $100 are supported by Visa payWave.

The credit card comes in two distinct designs for you to choose from.

    Pros
    • No fees
    • Choice of card design
    • Moderately low interest rate
    Cons
    • No interest-free days
    • No points or rewards
    • No digital wallet apps

    Who is it good for?

The Qudos Bank Lifestyle Visa may be suitable for use as a day-to-day credit card. It offers a moderately low interest rate for purchases and cash advances.

There is no points or rewards program available on this card. If earning while you spend is a priority, this credit card may not be beneficial.

It’s worth noting that transfer balances are accepted on this Visa card. However, interest is applied – there’s no 0 per cent interest offer.

If you want a credit card that looks different from the rest, the choice of two designs may appeal to your taste.

The card is protected by Visa security features. And there’s a dollar limit on contactless payWave transactions per day.

No annual additional cardholder fees apply to this credit card. If you’re after a credit card with fewer fees to manage, this might be an option.

    What RateCity says

The Qudos Bank Lifestyle credit card is one of the less expensive products on the market. It has no fees attached and offers a moderately low interest rate for purchases and cash advances.

A trade-off for being cheaper is fewer fringe benefits and limited functionality. This Visa doesn’t have a digital wallet facility, so you can’t upload it to a device for mobile use.

There’s no associated points or rewards scheme either. Your transactions do not earn you anything, and there are no interest-free days available for purchases.

The credit card comes with a range of Visa protections for secure use. And payWave transactions are limited per day.

Qudos Bank has provided a choice of credit card designs. Each cardholder can have a different looking card to avoid confusion.

This Visa might be an attractive option for someone wanting a very basic credit card with manageable costs.

    Applying/eligibility

To be eligible for the Qudos Bank Lifestyle Visa you must be at least 18 years of age. You also need to be an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia. You need to be in paid employment and not previously bankrupt. Information to have on-hand for your application includes evidence of income, assets and liabilities. You can verify your identification with a driver’s licence, Medicare card and passport. You can apply online, over the phone or in a branch.
