Bank of us FlexiLine Loan

Features

The Bank of us FlexiLine Loan features a line of credit that is borrowed against the equity you’ve built in your property that provides funds for purchases like making home improvements or other worthwhile investments.

While you do have access to use funds from your home’s equity with this loan, the variable rate offered is moderate.

However, you do have fee-free access to a Bank of us Home Advantage transaction account. This means you can have a Bank of us Visa debit card for unlimited use at rediATMs and EFTPOS facilities throughout Australia.

This transaction account also gives you access to internet and mobile banking as well as full access to Bank of us branches. However, you do have to be borrowing a minimum amount under the Bank of us FlexiLine Loan to be eligible for this transaction account.

You also have the option to add repayment insurance offered by Bank of us with this loan so you’re protected if you fall behind on your repayments or become unable to make your payments.

Customers can use their Bank of us transaction account to access their line of credit or through other Visa credit cards. There is no 100 per cent offset account or redraw facility available with this loan.

Who is the Bank of us FlexiLine Loan good for?

The Bank of us FlexiLine Loan is good for owner-occupiers and investors looking to access their home equity in order to fund further investments or renovation projects.

This home loan could also be good for people who don’t want a 100 per cent offset account or a redraw facility as the loan does not offer these features.

Review - What RateCity says

The B&E Personal Banking FlexiLine Loan could be a good option if you’re looking to make renovations, other investments and big purchases and need to access the equity in your property in order to fund these purchases.

It can also be good if you’re looking for a line of credit home loan without features like a 100 per cent offset account, ability to make early repayments and a redraw facility.

However, the moderate variable interest rate offered by this loan could outweigh its pros. Depending on your specific situation and needs, it’s worth taking a look at the pros and cons of the B&E Personal Banking FlexiLine Loan to determine if it’s suitable for you.
