Family First Credit Union
Family First CU has been providing Australians with financial products and services since 1967. The Credit Union was founded by employees of the Small Arms Factory in Lithgow (S.A.F.E. Credit Union), later known as the Lithgow Mutual Credit Union. The organisation became a community credit union when it merged with the Hartley Local Government Employees Credit Union in 1981. In 1997 a vote was cast to change the name to Family First Credit Union to reflect its wide demographic offering. Since its inception they have continued to provide their members with competitive interest rates, low fees and financial assistance to help them achieve their lifestyle and financial goals.
